Maria Hegnauer was baptised on 7 January 1804 at Igis, canton Graubünden, Switzerland, the daughter of Jacob Hegnauer and Maria Ladner. On 6 October 1834 she married Heinrich Rusch at Wartau, canton St. Gallen. She probably died on 23 April 1871 at Wartau and was buried there on 27 April 1871.
