Maria Emilie Theurer was baptised at Igis, Graubünden, Switzerland, on 17 February 1858, the daughter of Jakob Theurer and Verena Hegnauer, and a granddaughter of Peter Hegnauer and Anna Berri.1 No later record of her has been found.
