Anna Barbara Bühler married Nutt Hegnauer, the eldest son of Peter Hegnauer and Anna Berri, at Igis, Graubünden, Switzerland, in 1856; one index of the register gives the date as 10 February.1 Her own parents and her age are not given in the indexes.

Four children of the marriage were baptised at Igis. Matthäus was born on 3 May 1856, Luzia on 24 October 1859, Nutina on 7 February 1862 and Georg on 26 January 1867.2–5 Little Luzia died when she was three weeks old and was buried on 19 November 1859.3

Nothing later is known of Anna Barbara; the baptism of Georg in 1867 is the last record of her found so far.5
