“Robert John Kamm, 76, Dies”

An obituary of Robert Kamm, 76, who died at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 24 January 1934, at his home three miles north-east of Rich Hill, Missouri. He had come to Bates County from Illinois as a boy. His funeral was set for Friday, 26 January, from the Booth & Boughan chapel, with the Rev. J. Winchell Long officiating and burial at Greenlawn.

He was survived by four daughters, Elizabeth (Mrs. McVicker, printed as Vicker), Christina (Mrs. Grill), and Maggie and Bertha Kamm, who were unmarried; and by two sons who lived at home, one of them Oscar. The notice does not mention his wife, Barbara Hegnauer, who had died in 1923.
