“Krattley Rites Today”

A report of the funeral of Mrs. Christina Krattley (born Hegnauer), 88, who had died on Monday, 8 January 1934, at her home three and a half miles west of Carthage, Missouri. The service was held at 2 o'clock at the Knell Service Home, with the Rev. Samuel Michael, Lutheran pastor of Joplin, in charge, and she was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Although printed on Friday, 12 January, the report was evidently taken from a paper of the Wednesday, and the study dates the funeral to 10 January.
