Klara Meta Hegnauer was born on 29 December 1880 and baptised at St. Gallen, Switzerland, on 23 January 1881, the second child of Georg Hegnauer and Elisabeth Flütsch.1 She died on 24 November 1891, aged ten, and was buried at St. Gallen three days later.2 Her father was probably Georg, son of Peter Hegnauer and Anna Berri of Igis.
