From Igis to the Pacific

Anna Dorothea Hegnauer was born on 2 October 1879 and baptised at St. Gallen, Switzerland, on 19 October, the first child of Georg Hegnauer and Elisabeth Flütsch, who had married at Lichtensteig the year before.1 Her father was probably Georg, son of Peter Hegnauer and Anna Berri of Igis (see his profile). No later record of her has been found.
