An obituary of Adelaide Louise Curtis Hegnauer, 74, of 2431 Kingfisher Lane, Kelso, Washington, who died on 19 April 1995 at St. John Medical Center. She was born on 31 May 1920 at Montevideo, Minnesota, to Arthur and Hazel Curtis, and had lived in the area for 49 years. Until earlier that year she had been bookkeeper for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and she was a member of the Church of the Risen Saviour.

She was survived by three sons, among them Robert C. Hegnauer of Tacoma; by her adoptive mother, Berenice Burger of Longview; by three sisters, Verna Potter of Montevideo, Dorothy Harbour of Maynard, Minnesota, and Inez Tallard of Milwaukie, Oregon; and by eleven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A sister, Madge Curtis, and a brother, Arthur Curtis, had died before her. A memorial service was to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 22 April, at the Church of the Risen Saviour, 1170 17th Avenue, Longview.
