David B. Swezy was a son of Walter F. Swezy and Clara Hegnauer of Bates County, Missouri. He is named, as David, among the brothers and sisters of his brother Homer Lee Swezy (1930–2017) in Homer's obituary.1 His other brothers included Clyde and Elmer; the obituary names one more brother and a sister.1 No record of his own life has yet been read.
