Clyde W. Swezy

Clyde W. Swezy was a son of Walter F. Swezy and Clara Hegnauer of Bates County, Missouri. He is named, as Clyde, among the brothers and sisters of his brother Homer Lee Swezy (1930–2017) in Homer's obituary.1 His other brothers included Elmer and David; the obituary names one more brother and a sister.1 No record of his own life has yet been read.

  • Evidence: Index only: his brother Homer's funeral-home obituary (2017) names a sibling Clyde.1 The index entry does not say whether he was then living.
  • Family tree (leads only): The old family tree, copying an Ancestry member tree, gives him the middle initial W. and a birth about 1909 in Missouri, without a source. His parents are said (also without a source) to have married in Dec 1907, so he may have been their eldest child.
  • Living flag: He is treated as deceased because the tree's birth year, about 1909, is more than 100 years ago. That year has no source; if the censuses show him born after 1925 and no death is found, he must be treated as living.
