Elgg

Anna Petter married Hans Hegnauer at Elgg, in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland, on 15 June 1555.1 The wedding is the only record of her found so far.

Elgg was then a small town with a court lordship of its own. Zürich held the high court there through its bailiwick of Kyburg, and the castle and the lower court belonged to the lords of Hinwil.2 Her death has not been found; the Elgg burial register survives only from 1591.3
