Life story
Marjorie Ann Peterson was born on 11 November 1928 at Morris, the seat of Grundy County, Illinois, some twenty miles southwest of Joliet, according to her Find a Grave index entry as the old family tree cites it.1 By April 1950 she had married Joseph Worek, the youngest son of Martin Worek and Margaret Senkowska of Joliet: "Marge", twenty-one, and Joseph, twenty-seven, who drove a tractor in a steel mill, were living at 814 Oneida Street in Joliet.2 They had a son (living).3
Marjorie and Joseph spent their married life in Joliet, nearly seventy years together. She died there on 12 April 2018, aged eighty-nine, and was buried at Romeoville, just north of Joliet. Joseph died three weeks later, on 2 May, and was buried in Resurrection Cemetery at Romeoville; his funeral home's record names her as his wife, Marjorie Ann Peterson.1, 3–4
