Life story
Vincent Hack was the son of George John Hack and Blanche Estelle Isherwood, who had married at Wadena, Minnesota, on 19 October 1911.1 His parents' marriage ended before November 1930, when his mother married Robert Lucius Hegnauer, a grain and feed salesman of Wells, Minnesota. In 1940 Robert and Blanche were living on their own at Wells.2
In December 1969, when his stepfather died at Banning, California, eleven months after his mother, Vincent was living at San Antonio, Texas, and was named in the obituary as Robert's stepson.3 Nothing more about him has been found.

He was not in his mother's household in April 1940, when she and his stepfather lived alone at Wells; a boy born in the late 1920s would probably still have been with her, so he was most likely born in the 1910s or early 1920s.
