Joseph Henry Pearson was born about 1915 in Idaho, according to the family tree's reading of his marriage record (see Research Notes).1
On 13 March 1936, at Montesano, the seat of Grays Harbor County, Washington, he married Millie Mae Wilson, sixteen, the youngest daughter of James Israel Wilson and Lucy M. Harris, a family that had come to Grays Harbor from the farms of the Missouri–Oklahoma border.1 Thirty years later Millie was still Mrs. Joe Pearson, of Aberdeen, when her brother Woodrow died in 1966.2
Nothing more about Joe has yet been found in records: his parents, his work and the date and place of his death are unknown.

No other record of his birth has been found.

The bride, Millie Mae Wilson ("Welson" in the index), was 16. She was still Mrs. Joe Pearson, of Aberdeen, in 1966.
Ancestry's index of Washington marriage records gives Joseph Henry Pearson and Millie Mae "Welson", 16, daughter of "J J Wilson" and Lucy Wilson (maiden name Harris), married at Montesano on 13 Mar 1936. Her brother Woodrow's obituary of 1966 names her as Mrs. Joe Pearson, of Aberdeen. Index only; the image has not been viewed.

Research notes
- Identity: He is known from the index of his marriage to Millie Mae Wilson in 1936, and, as "Joe", from his wife's married name in her brother Woodrow's obituary of 1966.1, 2 Joseph Henry Pearson is a common enough name that later records must be tied to him through Millie.
- Birth: The family tree's "about 1915, Idaho" is cited in the tree to his line of the 1936 marriage index (ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/4401433:2378), which has not been re-read here. His bride's line of the same index gives her age and birthplace, so his presumably gives his.1
- Death: Not known. "Mrs. Joe Pearson" in 1966 does not show that he was then living. The Social Security Death Index and the Washington death index (under Joseph H. Pearson, born about 1915) are the next places to look; his birth year puts him beyond the study's living-person limit, so he is treated as deceased.
- WikiTree: The duplicate check of 26 Sep 2026 found a Joseph Lamar Pearson (1916–1998) of Lafayette, Florida, who is not this man (different middle name and place).
