Life story
Helen was the wife of Andrew Worek, the second son of Martin Worek and Margaret Senkowska, Polish immigrants of Joliet, Illinois. When and where they married, and her maiden name, have not been found. Andrew died at Prescott, Arizona, on 12 June 1966, at fifty-three; his death certificate records him as married and names his wife.1 He was brought home and buried in Resurrection Cemetery, near Joliet (see his profile).
Helen outlived him, but had died by November 2014, when the obituary of Andrew's youngest sister, Katherine (Worek) Jankola, listed "Andrew (late Helen) Worek" among those who had gone before her.2
