Life story
Bonita Jean Wilson, known as Bonnie, was born on 13 June 1941 at Aberdeen, on Grays Harbor in Washington, the second of the three children of Woodrow Elgia Wilson and Lucille Lorraine Lueck, who had married at Aberdeen in 1939.1 Her father went into the Army in 1942, and on 25 April 1943, when she was not yet two, she was baptized with her elder sister and her baby brother or sister at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seattle. The sponsors were Mrs. Signa Jasper, her mother's mother, and Mr. Hubert Jasper.1–2 Her parents' marriage ended during the war, and her mother married again in October 1943 (see her mother's profile).
Bonnie grew up to marry a Mr. Brockman. She died in 1996, aged about fifty-five, four years before her mother.2
