52. Appleton City Tribune, Tue 3 Mar 1908, p. 1 (863263009). The council proceedings name the judges for the April city election: "Second ward—Leonard Hegnauer, Dean Davis, E. A. Rogers and Harry Weller". The formal notice (ACT 17 Mar 1908, p. 4, 863263125, and later insertions) reads "Leonard Hegnauer, Dean Davis, J. P. Hastain, and Harry Weller in the second ward." The city's warrants (ACT 26 May 1908, p. 4, 863263582) include "233 L Hegnauer 1.50" among the judges of election.
