L. Hagnauer one of Bates county's best known and useful citizens, on Tuesday moved his family to Appleton City and now occupy the Deardoff residence in the southwest part of the city. Mr. Hegnaur becomes a temporary resident of the Prairie Queen in order that his son, who is now entering the threshold of manhood, may attend the Academy.

The Butler Daily Democrat reprinted it the same day, 30 Aug 1906, p. 3 (999278906), credited to the Journal. Facts: he moved on Tuesday 28 Aug 1906, into the Deardoff house in the south-west of Appleton City, so that Robert could attend the Academy. "Prairie Queen" was a nickname for Appleton City.
