PRAIRIE CITY ITEMS.

A merry Christmas and happy New Year to you.—Christmas was duly celebrated and our churches and Sunday schools held appropriate exercises.—The Literary Society will give a Declamation Contest on the night of Jan. 1st.—L. Hegenaur came down from the University for the holidays.—Ira Stillwell came home on a visit with his parents.—Mr. and and Mrs. P. A. Bartz are with the folks for the holidays.—Our schools are enjoying a ten days' vacation.—Bertha Wehnes is sick with pneumonia.
