George Burgessor, of Deepwater, came down Sunday.

Fred Johannes, of Harding, Kan., was here last week on business.

Miss May Barrows will give an entertainment at her school Saturday night.

Jacod Konig, of Sprague, came over on business Saturday.

The sale of property belonging to the Plischky estate was a success in every respect.

H. B. Sunderwirth, of Papinville, was visiting his brother, Fred, Sunday.

Will Burkhardt has come back and is working for Judge Fix.

Children's day will be observed by the Sunday school on the second Sunday in May.

Prent. Adams, of Mt. Sterling, Ill., is visiting his brother, Jim.

R. Steiner was home Sunday.

Several of our farmers are through planting corn and some report their early potatoes up.

A special school meeting will be held Saturday for the purpose of voting on a loan for building an addition to school house.

Chas. Wilt, who is working near Carbon Centre, came over Sunday.

Chris Hegenaur is up and around again we are glad to report.
