“$10,500 Hegnauer Estate”

A Surrogate's Court report on the will of Jacob R. Hegnauer, of 245 Springfield Avenue, Rochester, a janitor, who had died on 10 January 1940. His property was estimated at $10,500, of which $3,500 was real estate. He named his five children as his heirs, each to have a fifth of the residue: his unmarried daughter, Miss Hilda Hegnauer, who was also to have $500 and the household goods; Mrs. Amelia Voelker and Oscar H. Hegnauer, both of Rochester; Frederick Hegnauer, of Buffalo, the executor; and Elmer R. Hegnauer, of New York.
