Election Proclamation.

CITY OF APPLETON CITY, }

March 1[?], 1908.

I, G. A. Theilmann, Mayor of the City of Appleton City, Missouri, in pursuance of Section two of Ordinance No. five, of the Revised Ordinances of said city, do hereby give notice that a general election will be held on

Tuesday, the Seventh Day of April, 1908, for the purpose of electing the following officers, viz.:

Mayor, Marshall, Collector, City Clerk, Assessor, Police Judge, and one Alderman from each ward,

And one alderman from third ward for a term of one year to complete unexpired term of F. Cooney resigned.

The place of holding the election in the first ward will be on Lot 18, Block 22 (City Hall)

The place of holding the election in the second ward will be on Lot 5, Block 14. (Strickland building)

The place of holding the election in the third ward will be on Lot 2, Block 1, (Young's shop)

For judges of election I hereby appoint M. B. Strickland, Empire Leedom, Martin Grider and John Covey in the first ward.

Leonard Hegnauer, Dean Davis, J. P. Hastain, and Harry Weller in the second ward.

C. F. Hinkley, Jack Ouderkirk, Joseph Klein and W. H. Sageser in the third ward.
