• Married 29 August 1939 at Aberdeen, Grays Harbor County, by Rev. F. E. Christer [?], Pastor, Church of God, under a licence of 28 August 1939 issued by the Grays Harbor County Auditor.
• Groom: O. A. Wilson of Grays Harbor County; signed "Odis A. Wilson".
• Bride: Genevieve Watson of Grays Harbor County; signed "Genevieve Watson".
• Witnesses: Tulla D. Wilson [his brother, H0082] and Ruth Bunker [his sister Ruth (Wilson) Bunker, H0096].
• Note: Settles the year (1939, not WikiTree's 1938 on Valancourt-1). The bride's surname in 1939 was Watson, not Valancourt: either her maiden name or an earlier married name. Find a Grave styles her "Genevieve Helen Wilson Valancourt" and her 1999 obituary index adds "Laduck", which suggests Valancourt and/or Laduck were later married names (Odis died in 1996 leaving "Genevieve" as his widow). Her last name at birth needs her birth record (South Bend, Pacific Co., 1918) or the 1920/1930 censuses; until then WikiTree's LNAB Valancourt is doubtful and must not be treated as proven.
