Amsoldingen 19 May 1848 (K Amsoldingen 5 p. 182 no. 12, O06729; Schangnau copy K Schangnau 9 p. 108 no. 34, O06737); on the Belmont list at New York 1 Aug 1850 as 'Gotfried, 11 months', so Find a Grave's '1848-1849' (followed by FamilySearch and WikiTree) is wrong; not in the 1860 census; a brother born 1856 was named Gottlieb, so he had probably died by then
