On 26 November 1709 Hans Ulrich Hegnauer married Elsbetha Peter at Elgg, canton Zürich, Switzerland. Between 1715 and 1721 the couple had two children baptised at Elgg, Maria and Elsbetha. Another child, Hans Werner, is also known. A child of theirs was buried at Elgg in 1722. His wife was probably buried at Elgg on 26 March 1766.
