“Circuit Court Cases”

A report of the civil cases decided in the Faribault County court, among them Hegnauer vs. Hegnauer, in which a divorce was granted to the plaintiff. The report prints no given names and does not say which spouse brought the suit.

The study takes the case, very probably, to be the divorce of Robert Lucius Hegnauer and his first wife, Lotta Alice Donnell. They were the only Hegnauer couple known in Faribault County, where they had lived until at least 1920; they were still married in April 1930; and Robert married again in Cass County, North Dakota, on 22 November 1930, two days after the report.
