“Sewer Pipe Destroyed”

The Democrat and Chronicle of the same morning (11 Sep 1896, p. 5, image 135255149) has: "Charles Hegnauer and Lewis Grow were placed under arrest last night on the charge of malicious mischief, in destroying a quantity of sewer pipe belonging to the Standard Sewer Pipe Company. They were sent to the Shelter." The Rochester Herald's "Police Court" of 12 Sep 1896, p. 7 (image 1332956816) gives the outcome: "Charles Hegnauer and Lewis Grow, maliciously destroying property; discharged."]

Charles Hegnauer and Lewis Grow, small boys, are at present in confinement at the Shelter on the charge of destroying sewer pipe belonging to the Standard Sewer Pipe company.
