Last Saturday the Republicans met at the Opera house in this City and nominated the following ticket: Eor Sheriff, Geo. McLaughlin; for Treasurer, J. W. Rucker; for Representative, Leonard Hagenauer; for Public Administrator, W. W. Ross; for Judge of Southern District, George Gengch; Judge of Northern district, S. M. Patrick; for County Surveyor, E. C. Gilbreath; for Coroner, Dr. J. M. Colson. No one was named for Prosecuting Attorney.

The Convention elected seven Filley delegates to the State Convention at Springfield on July 22.
