FamilySearch: notes on the source
- Cite records by their ARK URL (
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/...); these links are permanent. - Swiss and German church books are often image-only and unindexed. Browse them through the catalog (search by place) and log the film/DGS number and image number.
- Family Tree person IDs (e.g.
LXXX-XXX) go in the notes column. The shared tree is not a source in itself.
