HEGNAUER-BROWN.

The marriage of Miss Anna E. Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hewitt, of No. 150 Gregory street, to Mr. Fred R. Hegnauer, of No. 341 Saxton street, took place Tuesday evening, June 4th, at Christ Episcopal chapel, Rev. David L. Ferris officiating. Miss Gertrude Goers was bridesmaid and Robert L. Poole bestman.

The bride wore a gown of pink Georgette crepe, with hat to match. She carried a bouquet of bride roses. The bridesmaid wore figured voile and carried pink sweet peas.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride's home, covers were laid for forty. Music was furnished by a string orchestra. The bride's gift to the bridesmaid was a string of pearls. The groom to his best man a Masonic watch charm.

Prenuptial events included a linen shower by Mrs. Fred Diehl and Mrs. William Meading, kitchen shower by Mrs. Martin Hopkins and cut glass and linen shower by the girls of the packing room of the Sherwood Shoe Company. Mr. and Mrs. Hegnauer will spend the summer at Cranberry Pond, Manitou.
