APPLETON CITY ACADEMY.

Visitors: Willie Baucom and J. D. Hoover of Spruce, Mo.

The foot ball has again made its appearance and is the means of much physical exertion on the part of the young men.

The largest English History Class the Academy has ever had is now carefully studying the events and the people of our mother country.

The Academy has three students in the State University this year. They are as follows: John Martin, of Ohio P. O., Ed Hastain, of Columbia, and Leonhard Hegnauer of Prairie City.
